KUALA TERENGGANU, April 6 — T-Team, having overcome their goal drought last night, are bent on scoring as many goals as possible in their coming matches to do well in the Super League.

Coach Rachmat Darmawan said he would improve the team’s pattern and rhythm of play to help realise the objective.

In past matches, the team foiled the many opportunities to score, he said.  “Tonight, we scored four goals to end the drought. I am satisfied with the performance of the team,” he told reporters here last night.

In the match, T-Team beat Kelantan 4-2 on home ground. Their scores were Dilshod Sharofetdinov (19th and 71st minute), Patrick Dos Santos Cruz (38th) and Makan Konate (47th).

Kelantan’s goals came through T-Team’s Mohamad Kamal Azizi (27th, own goal) and Blazhe Ilioski (39th).

Rachmat said he hoped that the goals would spur his team forward, adding that import player Patrick Dos Santos Cruz scored his first goal last night.  “I hope the team will rise to collect the three full points at every match after this,” he said.

Kelantan chief coach K. Devan said his team made many mistakes, especially in defence.

This enabled the opponents to penetrate and score the goals, he added. — Bernama
