LOS ANGELES, Nov 30 — Paris Hilton is jumping on the unicorn bandwagon this holiday season with her debut skincare product, a magical-sounding facial spray called “Unicorn Mist”.

Containing natural rose extract and Aloe Vera juice, the socialite and reality TV star’s new facial mist comes in a limited-edition, holographic glass packaging and promises to leave skin “revitalised and refreshed,” with Hilton crediting it for her glowing complexion.

The mist is the first product from Hilton’s new venture, an LA-based skincare startup called “Hilton Lifestyle, LLC”. She plans to roll out a full natural skincare line early in 2018, with the collection described by the company as “innovative skincare products utilising ingredients sourced from nature while incorporating the values and vision of the founders for a truly genuine consumer relationship.”

“I have always had a passion for taking care of my skin and I only use products that actually work without harmful chemicals that are only a temporary fix,” said Hilton in a statement. “With this new company I can stand behind my own products and promote a brand that is focused on making products that truly work and can help everyone look and feel their best.”

Of course, this is not Hilton’s first venture into the beauty industry. The heiress has released an impressive 24 fragrances over the course of her career, with her most recent creation, “Rosé Rush”, hitting the shelves this year.

One thing is for sure — Hilton is bang on trend with her unicorn-themed drop. The mythical beauty trend has reached fever pitch this year, resulting in a slew of holographic and iridescent cosmetics for eyes, lips, hair and nails from brands including Too Faced, Tarte, Nails Inc and Lime Cream. The craze has even spilled over into the realm of food and drink, prompting Starbucks to launch its controversial limited-edition “Unicorn Frappuccino” earlier this year.

“Unicorn Mist” is now available to purchase for US$29.99 (RM122.55) at www.unicornmist.com, and will be coming to select bricks-and-mortar retail locations throughout Australia in December. — AFP-Relaxnews
