SEOUL, April 2 — It may have been released yesterday, or April Fools’ Day, but multiple tech websites are reporting that this ad for the LG G5 starring Jason Statham, while plain weird, is no joke.
Mashable probably put it best when they described it as a mashup between Being John Malkovich and Aphex Twin’s notorious Come to Daddy video.
It basically features a lot of Jason Stathams trying to pitch LG’s latest flagship phone as a do-everything device, while selling a bunch of accessories called “Friends” that expand its capabilities.
And despite the fact we are huge fans of the British action man, our heads have been left spinning like we’ve been hit by the rampaging bulls that you see in the ad.
