LOS ANGELES, March 4 — British actress Vanessa Kirby of The Crown is in final talks for a lead role in the next Mission: Impossible film.
According to Variety, plot details as well as information about Kirby’s role are unknown at this time. The actress is known for her role as Queen Elizabeth’s sister, Princess Margaret, in the Netflix series The Crown.
Tom Cruise stars in the Mission: Impossible franchise and is expected to be joined in this instalment by returning cast members Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner.
