KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — It’s the norm to have local movies and dramas that are adapted from novels, but the tables have been turned when it comes to Osman Ali’s upcoming movie, “Langit Cinta”.

The movie, which is expected to be released early next year, is set to be adapted into a novel by Alaf21 Sdn Bhd author Damya Hanna.

“I have previously worked with the author (Damya) and I am confident that she will be able to produce the best “Langit Cinta” novel,” said the director, as quoted by Sinar Harian.

The “Ombak Rindu” director said that he is a fan of Damya’s works, hence the reason for choosing her to pen the novel.
