LOS ANGELES, June 3 — It’s been five years since dragons and Vikings are united on the island of Berk.

And while others race around the island, Hiccup and Toothless journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds.

This leads to the discovery of a secret cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the centre of a battle to protect the peace.

In “How to Train Your Dragon 2” there are quite some stars who lend their voices to this animated adventure, such as Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Gerard Butler, Cate Blanchett and America Ferrara and they all loved it.

Says Jay Baruchel: “I think, you know, in our job to be an actor is really murder on your ego and your self-esteem and all that stuff, and so I have to say it’s really nice to be able to work on something and a mirror doesn’t come into play once. Right? Like, it’s just the voice and the energy, and like I don’t know…  it kinda renews my faith in love of acting when I get to do this.”

Gerard Butler shares his experience too saying: “I’ve had such a great time getting my teeth into this guy, you know? There’s so much you can do with him, you know. Big fun scenes where you get to see the movie open together. The relationship between my son is… it’s hilarious. It’s touching. It’s heart-breaking. And it’s really inspiring and it’s something that I think you can very much…  audiences really connect with. Because we’ve all been there, you know?”

“It’s a challenge I think as an actor to do a different kind of performance, that is just a vocal performance, shares America Ferrara. “And I had very little experience with voice over before this, so I had a learning curve a little bit. And I get nervous at the beginning because… you know, it’s like hearing your… it’s like no-one likes hearing their voice on an answering machine, you know? Nobody really likes that experience, so I have to get passed the nerves for every session and then get into it.” — Cover Media
