NEW YORK, June 8 — Living Language Dothraki: A Conversational Language Course will immerse fans of the fantasy drama in the dialect created by the linguist David J. Peterson.

Consisting of a 128-page book and a CD of audio lessons, the course promises to teach dedicated fans around 200 words and several simple phrases in Dothraki. A pronunciation guide, a grammar guide, cultural notes and 50 written practice questions are also provided.

Some of the vocabulary introduced is exclusive to the course, having never been revealed in “Game of Thrones” episodes or in George R.R. Martin’s books.

Living Language Dothraki: A Conversational Language Course will be released on October 7 along with a companion mobile app.

An online version will also be available, including interactive games and additional grammar lessons.

Having created languages since the early 2000s, David J. Peterson has worked on “Game of Thrones” to develop Dothraki since 2009.

He also acts as a consultant in the creation of extra-terrestrial languages for the Syfy series “Defiance” and “Dominion” as well as for the CW’s “Star-Crossed.”

The Dothraki language course is available now for pre-order. — AFP-Relaxnews
