SEREMBAN, Nov 8 — Over 6,000 state civil servants in Negri Sembilan will receive bonus of RM2,000 which will be paid in stages beginning December.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said of the total, RM500 would be paid in December this year, RM500 in January 2018, and the remaining RM1,000 during Hari Raya Adilfitri 2018.
“The bonus payout will involve all employees of the state government, including those under local authorities and state government agencies,” he told reporters here today.
The federal civil servants, however, would receive RM1,500 bonus as announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak during the tabling of the 2018 budget recently.
Of the total, RM1,000 would be paid in January, while the remaining RM500, during Aidilfitri. — Bernama
