Designed by a princess, these headbands make wishes come true

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 — It's not often you get to do something good AND look good at the same time. But here's your chance.

Sereni & Shentel, a homegrown hair accessories brand, collaborated with Make-A-Wish Malaysia by inviting their patron Tengku Zatashah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah to design seven limited edition headbands.

A well-known fashionista herself, Tengku Zatashah designed these seven headbands in colours inspired by her own personal batik collection.

Based on Sereni & Shentel's bestselling Blair hairband, these seven headbands are in the most beautiful jewel tones.

You may want to buy more than one from this collection called SS x TZ; the headbands are named after seven Make-A-Wish Malaysia girls.

Each retails at RM137 and 50 per cent of that amount will go to Make-A-Wish Malaysia.

The self-supported NGO relies on fund-raising events and donations to fund its programme which is to make the wishes of critically ill children come true for a day.

There are more than 20,000 children in Malaysia who are critically ill and Make-A-Wish Malaysia hopes to “allow the child and their family to put aside their challenges for a day.”
