Summer snapshot: Sky-high yoga overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris

PARIS. July 5 — Each day this summer, we’ll be picking an unusual, amusing or impressive picture from around the world.

Today’s snap shows people taking part in a yoga class on top of Paris’s other landmark tower — Tour Montparnasse — 210m above the city streets, practicing a Sun Salutation over the Paris rooftops.

Fancy taking in a breathtaking view during your morning yoga session?

Esteemed yoga master Mandana Mortazavi is holding classes every Tuesday this summer on the Tour Montparnasse rooftop in Paris, overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

However, you’ll need to be up with the lark to take in this Parisian scene with your morning moves, since sessions run 7:30am to 8:30am, July 4 to August 29, 2017.

Tickets are available online only and are limited to two tickets per person per class, subject to availability.

If it rains, classes are held in the indoor section of the tower’s Panoramic Observatory on the 56^th floor.
