KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 — Pahang FC finally ended their barren run in this season's Super League when they edged Perak 4-3 at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh last night.

However, the last gasp winning goal by hattrick hero Dalibor Volas in added time of the second half did not help their standing in the league.

They are still languishing at the bottom after seven matches with four points, the same as Perak but with an inferior goal difference.

Both teams were tied at 3-3 after regulation play with Perak's goals supplied by Vokhid Shodiev in the 9th minute, Elias Fernandes de Oliveira (57th) and Ahmad Khairul Anuar (77th).

Pahang's goals were netted by Volas (13th and 43th) and another import player German Ezequiel Pacheco (70th) .

At the Darul Aman Stadium, Alor Setar, Kedah failed to defend their one goal advantage and had to contend with a 2-2 draw against neighbours Penang.

However, the result saw them rising one rung in the standings to fourth place, thus dislodging Kelantan to fifth place.

Their import player from Kosovo, Liridon Krasniqi put the Red Eagles ahead in the 23rd minute before Mathias Jesus Cordoba equalised for Penang in the 29th minute.

Liridon scored his second of the night in the 60th minute but Darwira Sazan nodded home a header in the 86th minute to level the score again.

Terengganu FC II also continued their winning ways, defeating Sarawak 2-0 at an empty Stadium Negeri in Petra Jaya, Kuching.

Makan Konate was the hero for the 'The Titans', scoring both the goals, in the 55th and 69th minutes respectively.

The FA of Malaysia had ordered Sarawak to play the match without fans as punishment for the crowd disturbances at the same venue when they played against Felda United on March 16. — Bernama
