KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 20 — The romance between Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Gigi Hadid is off.
A source from Hadid’s camp told People that the romance, which began in September last year during the New York Fashion Week, had fizzled out.
“She hasn’t seen him for a while. She just decided that she was done with him,” the source reportedly said, adding that they are at very different places in life and she prioritises being a mum.
The insider noted that the relationship was never serious.
The duo were last seen together in public in November after they left the same restaurant in New York City.
Before coming together, Hadid, 27, and former One Direction member Zayn Malik welcomed their first child in 2020 before splitting in October the following year.
DiCaprio, 48, also came off a long-term relationship with model-cum-actress Camila Morrone after dating for four years.
The Oscar winner was recently spotted with actress Victoria Lamas in late December, though sources say he was still seeing Hadid at the time.
Pictures of DiCaprio spending time with 19-year-old model Eden Polaniv also surfaced where they were photographed sitting next to each other at an album release party for model Riley Montana.
It had since been denied that the pair were seeing each other, claiming that they were seated next to each other and “just because Leo might be talking to or sitting with a girl doesn’t mean he’s dating her.”
