LOS ANGELES, May 15 — "Kill Bill" actress Uma Thurman is set to star in "The Brits Are Coming", a comedy about a pair of Brits up to no good, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, to be directed by James Oakley, details the escapades of a British couple who flee to Los Angeles to plot a jewel theft, after crossing a notorious gangster.
The pair — Harriet (Thurman) and Peter Fox — crack a scheme to win back the money owed to this gangster via a jewel theft and are joined in their efforts by Peter's ex-wife and her new husband, Gabriel.
Kristin Chenoweth of "Broken Arrow" will also feature in the movie, playing Gabriel's pill-popping assistant, Gina.
Cassian Elwes, filmmaker JC Chandor, Robert Ogden Barnum and Will Clevinger are producing the film. — AFP-Relaxnews
