BAGAN DATUK, Feb 17 — A total of 100 food trucks will be provided to traders in the district to facilitate their business and increase income, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said the food truck facility which would be implemented by Yayasan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan (YBUDR) and the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) would carry out operations at Dataran Bagan Datuk, here.
“I have asked the director-general of the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Zaki Ansore Mohd Yusof to buy 100 food trucks or 50 each for YBUDR and Fama.
“Insya-AlIah, it will take about two to three months for us to implement,” he said at a free and easy talk programme in Simpang Empat, Rungkup here today.
About 100 local residents attended the programme which was also attended by Rungkup state assemblyman Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahya and Bagan Datuk district officer Datuk Hamzah Hussin. — Bernama
