KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 — All Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) television programmes will be rescheduled in line with the soon to be fully implemented digital system at government-owned television station.

Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak said the new schedule of programmes would involve TV1, TV2 and TVi (Astro channel 180).

“RTM is in the midst of preparing new schedules for all its programme through a digital television system,” he told Bernama through WhatsApp messages here today.

Recently, Salleh said RTM has proposed to create a television news channel when the process of converting its analogue system to digital was completed.

With the conversion and the installation of the top box set, viewers would be able to watch all RTM programmes and hence enjoy the fully digitalised transmission. — Bernama
