NEW YORK, Nov 20 — Jimmy Fallon has partnered with J.Crew to launch an iPhone case that doubles as a pocket square for the dapper gentleman.

“Because carrying your phone in your pants is so 2014,” says Fallon.

The idea is to “class up” what became a common trend he was seeing at the office: iPhones tucked into blazer pocket.

“My assistant and I stayed up one night after the show and hot glued a pocket square to an iPhone case to make the first version,” the funnyman said.

“I must have looked like a crazy person walking into [J.Crew CEO] Mickey Drexler’s office with it and pitching him the idea, but I brought ice cream (Ben & Jerry’s The Tonight Dough) to help smooth things over.”
