SAN FRANCISCO, July 13 — If rumours circulating around the web are true, it looks like Apple might unveil its next generation iPod models tomorrow.

The French website iGen, quoting reliable sources, has reported that Apple is all set to announce the refreshed models for iPod Touch, Shuffle and Nano around July 14.

The report claims the new iPod touch should be a more significant update, likely including a bump to a 64-bit A-based processor, while the iPod nano and iPod shuffle may be refreshed with new colours only. The colours that are expected to be added to the line-up are gold, dark blue, silver, space grey, red and bright pink.

This seems to also confirm reports that the newly released iTunes 12.2 update included a number of images for the next gen iPod, along with the 14 July date spotted on the iPod touch calendar.
