A statement shared on his official page, Andy World Club, on Monday read: “For the first time in seven years, Andy Lau will be returning to Hong Kong for a concert… there will also be shows to be held in the mainland in 2019.

“Upon hearing that we received the approval for his Hong Kong shows, Andy was extremely happy and will be earnestly starting preparations for the concert soon.

Lau had planned to hold a series of concerts in Hong Kong and China at the end of 2017, but was forced to cancel after he was thrown off a horse while filming a commercial in Thailand on January 17, 2017.
