KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 — Disney XD’s beloved, classic animated comedy adventure DuckTales will be back to entertain everyone later this month.

This series, which is set to premiere on January 21, follows the 30th anniversary of the original Emmy Award-winning series and highlights the comedy adventures of Duckburg’s most epic family of ducks, including Scrooge McDuck, triplets Huey, Dewey, Louie and Donald Duck.

The story unfolds as Donald Duck reluctantly takes Huey, Dewey and Louie to the home of their reclusive great-uncle Scrooge. Enthralled by their once-legendary great-uncle and the wonder of McDuck Manor, the triplets and Webby learn of long-kept family secrets and unleash totems from Scrooge’s epic past, sending the family on an adventure of a lifetime to the Lost City of Atlantis.

The new animated comedy adventure DuckTales will premiere on January 21 in a one-hour television movie titled Woo-oo! at 10am on Disney Channel and Disney XD (Astro Channel 615 and 617 respectively).

The series will debut on January 26 at 4pm on Disney Channel and will be available On Demand.

To celebrate the series launch, Malaysian fans can expect a host of fun-filled activities themed under a Woo-oo campaign that promises loads of fun and great prizes to boot.

Take part in the DuckTales #WooMoments social media by submitting a photo or video submission that can include imitating Donald Duck or doing the duckface to Disney Channel Asia’s Facebook page with the hashtag #WooMoments for a chance to be featured on Disney Channel!

Fans will also have the chance to jump into Scrooge’s Money Bin at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall from tomorrow till February 6 for a chance to win a family trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. Kids will also get a chance to meet Donald Duck on January 20 and 21.

Disney Channel has also released a revamped, localiaed version of the classic DuckTales theme song featuring the hugely popular Club Mickey Mouse Mouseketeers as well as Disney Channel hosts Brandon and Badricka, and local celebrities Jenn Chia and Ismail Izzani.
