LOS ANGELES, Nov 7 — Disney and Pixar have released the final trailer for its upcoming animated adventure Coco.

Preparing to celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with his grandmother Coco (Renee Victor), Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) begins to feel different from his family. Eager to showcase his talent to his family, Miguel soon becomes engulfed in the colourful Land of the Dead, home to his ancestors.

Alongside Hector (Gael García Bernal), Miguel embarks on an adventure but must return home before sunrise or else be stuck in the ancestral world forever.

The film also features the voice talents of Benjamin Bratt, Ana Ofelia Murguia, Edward James Olmos, Jaime Camil, Sofía Espinosa and Cheech Marin.

The synopsis of the film reads: “Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.”

Coco is set for release on November 22.
