NEW YORK, Feb 25 — Amandla Stenberg plays the lead role in this coming-of-age romance drama as an 18-year-old girl who lives a sheltered life with her over-protective mother.

Maddy Whittier — Stenberg’s character in Everything, Everything — suffers from a severe auto-immune disorder which causes her to be allergic to everything.

She lives a contented, albeit isolated life, filling her day with art and writing. Her world soon turns upside down when she falls for Olly (played by Nick Robinson), a boy who moves in next door.

The movie is based on a novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon and is directed by Stella Meghie.
