HONG KONG, Nov 23 — Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong says he expects to remain single for a while because he is “not a good man.”

He made the comments during an interview with QQ while promoting his latest TV series “Women on the Breadfruit Tree.”

He said that he shared similar traits with his character Lin Fangwen in the Mainland Chinese drama, saying that he can win the affections of women, but can’t provide anyone with the sense of security they deserve.

“I am not someone with a sweet mouth. I don’t know how to make my girlfriend happy,” Wong was quoted as saying.

“I’m always working. How can I give her a sense of security? I am the kind of person who would not think about anything else once I am in working mode.”

His introspective comments came after his former girlfriend Myolie Wu announced on her birthday that she will marry her boyfriend of one year, Philip Lee, on December 28.

But Wong revealed that he remains on good terms with the actress, confirming that he had received an invitation to her wedding, which he plans to attend.

He added, “If I am in Hong Kong that day without work, then I will definitely go to her wedding. I’ve said this many times before. I will not be embarrassed.”

Wong also dismissed the suggestion by many fans that he should snatch Wu away on her wedding day. The discussion became so heated that it was a trending topic on Weibo.

He reportedly said, while laughing, “Kidnap the bride? Are you serious? This is real life!”
