NEW YORK, June 10 — “True Detective” actress Michelle Monaghan has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming Hulu series “The Way,” the streaming service announced yesterday.
Jason Katims (“Parenthood”) is serving as showrunner for the drama series, which follows a family at the centre of a controversial faith-based movement dealing with relationships, money and power.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Monaghan will play Sarah Cleary, a high-level member of the movement.
The straight-to-series drama will get a first season of 10 hour-long episodes, set for a winter premiere. — AFP/Relaxnews
