LOS ANGELES, Feb 26 — Netflix is adding five new animated and live-action series for kids, beginning with an “Inspector Gadget” reboot that starts next month.

“Inspector Gadget” will be a 26-episode series premiering exclusively in the US in March before being added to the service in Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Benelux, France and the Nordic countries.

The ‘80s cult favourite “Danger Mouse” will be the focus of a new series featuring British actor Stephen Fry as Colonel K. and will premiere in spring 2016 in North America, Latin America, the Nordic countries, Benelux and Japan before rolling out to the rest of Netflix’s territories.

Also coming are “Super 4,” a CGI series inspired by Playmobil that will premiere in the US in April; “Some Assembly Required,” a live-action series that is already out in Canada and will be available this summer across all of Netflix’s territories other than Canada; and “Bottersnikes & Gumbles,” a CGI series adapted from the books of the same name and debuting its 13-episode season around the world in spring 2016 (the UK and Australia will get it at a later date). — AFP-Relaxnews
