LOS ANGELES, Jan 22 — The two actors will join Zoe Saldana in this four-part miniseries in development at NBC, Deadline.com announces.

Canadian actor Patrick J. Adams, the star of “Suits,” and Jason Isaacs, who played the evil Lucius Malefoy in the “Harry Potter” films, have both joined the cast of the upcoming adaptation of Ira Levin’s horror novel.

The former will play Rosemary’s husband, Guy. The couple moves to Paris, settling into an apartment with a dark past and some strange neighbours, one of whom -- Roman Castevet — will be played by Jason Isaacs.

The miniseries will follow in the footsteps of Roman Polanski’s famous film adaptation of “Rosemary’s Baby.” Released in 1968, the horror movie starred Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes as the young couple.

NBC’s new TV adaptation will soon begin principal photography in Paris under Polish director Agnieszka Holland (“Europa, Europa,” “The Wire,” “Treme”). — AFP Relaxnews
