LOS ANGELES, Nov 13 — The model is being courted by Warner Bros. to play the female lead in the adaptation of the popular HBO series “Entourage,” focusing on the adventures of the young actor Vincent Chase and his childhood friends.

Thewrap.com reports that the 21-year-old model is in talks to join the feature, which was officially confirmed in late October. If an agreement is reached, Upton will play the latest woman to fall for the charms of Vincent Chase, the central character in the TV series that aired on HBO from 2004 to 2011.

For the time being, Warner Bros. is remaining discreet regarding the details of the “Entourage” movie. Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven and Kevin Dillon will return to the roles they played in the Hollywood-based series. Directed by the series creator Doug Ellin, the movie is scheduled to begin shooting sometime in 2014.

Before possibly making her way to the set of “Entourage,” Kate Upton will appear in theaters in spring 2014 in “The Other Woman.” Upton will have a minor role in this Nick Cassavetes comedy, in which Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann take revenge on an unfaithful husband. Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (“Game of Thrones”) will play the unsuspecting victim of their plot. — AFP
