KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 — Bursa Malaysia ended the lunch break higher on rotational interest in small-cap stocks, particularly technology counters, a dealer said.

At 12.30pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 1.68 points firmer at 1,747.81, after moving between 1,746.51 and 1,747.91 throughout the morning session.

It opened 1.78 points better at 1,747.91 from last Friday’s 1,746.13.

Market breadth was positive as gainers outpaced losers 413 to 371 with 355 counters unchanged, 748 untraded and 115 others suspended.

Turnover stood at 1.39 billion shares worth RM750.21 million. — Bernama
