KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 — Kohler, a global leader in the manufacture of kitchen and bath products, is confident of achieving strong double-digit sales growth in Malaysia next year.

South East Asia Marketing Communication Manager Benjamin Chang said the better sales outlook will mainly be driven by the increasing number of construction projects such as hotel and residential projects in the country.

“We have been supplying our products to hotels and residential projects since the beginning of our presence in Malaysia 20 years ago.

“The increasing number of construction or housing projects in Malaysia will definitely help boost our sales,” he told Bernama on the sidelines of the “Koehler. Bold. Art. Asia” exhibition here today.

The inaugural exhibition aims to showcase the company’s support and passion for the arts.

Chang said the company has been recording encouraging sales performance in Malaysia for more than 20 years.

“Interest in Kohler’s products among Malaysians has been growing positively, as our products range from entry-level to high-end price points.

“The diverse choices are also one of the factors in our sales success,” he said.

He added the company is also supplying its products to royal residences such as Istana Negara and Istana Bukit Serene, the royal palace and official residence of the Sultan of Johor.

Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Wisconsin, the United States, Kohler is currently active in 14 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific. — Bernama
