PETALING JAYA, May 28 — Most known for playing an ustaz in local TV series Nur, actor Syafiq Kyle has become an even bigger sensation on social media overnight after a video of his lookalike masturbating while on the phone went viral.
The 7.21-minute video that first emerged on the internet last Friday night showed a man resembling the 25-year-old engaged in a video phone chat with an unseen woman who asks him to show more than his lips.
The man responds by biting his lips and then moving his smartphone camera downwards to his hand holding his penis.
“Ahh bibir tu, sedapnya, Syafiq, nak tengok angle dari bawah, Syafiq, memang minat melancap ke?” said the woman whose name was given as Mira.
[Translation: As, those lips look so good, Syafiq, can see from a lower angle, Syafiq, do you really like masturbating?]

The video clip has been circulating with greater intensity through emails, WhatsApp and other social media platforms since last night.
Some Malaysians have also been charging money for the videos, RM20 in its entirety and RM8 for a partial clip.

Syafiq, whose real name is Mohd Syafiq Shamim Abdul Razak has yet to respond to claims that he is the man in the video.
However, his manager Shawn Ameer has urged fans to be patient, saying they will review the video before issuing a public comment.
“We are in serious talks over the issue and we hope all parties remain calm,” Shawn told Malay tabloid Kosmo!
Some fans took to Twitter to express support to the KL-born actor, while haters were quick to condemn Syafiq for this major “sin” by committing this act during the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan.

That video who is known as his doppelganger might trick us well especially for those who not knowing who is the real Syafiq Kyle.
I'm personally amazed by the way Syafiq Kyle deals with that video issue. He doesn't seem bothered. Tak kata apa yang dia buat tu tak salah but hey, don't tell me that you don't have a dirty little secret you don't want people to know. Jangan gembira sangat dpt buka aib orang.

While many believe the person in the video could be Syafiq, others think the actor is being sabotaged due to the general negative reviews of his ustaz role in Nur.
Last month, another local artiste was involved in a similar scandal.
A picture of a penis was uploaded on Zul Ariffin’s Instagram story (@zul_ariffin) for a short while before it was deleted.
His official fan club did not take long to respond, posting a story on their Instagram account (@zulariffinfc) a couple of hours after the incident.
“Hi guys please note that our boss’ account was hacked earlier today. He has since removed the post and all is under control. He will take necessary actions to prevent it from happening again,” the post read.
