KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 ― Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is slated to share a stage with PAS in the Islamist party’s event tonight.

The former deputy prime minister will be headlining the grand rally tonight in PAS' Himpunan Harapan Semua 3.0 in Kemaman, Terengganu.

"Tan Sri will be speaking at 9pm tonight at the PAS event," an aide confirmed with the Malay Mail Online today, referring to Muhyiddin.

Other speakers at tonight's forum include PAS Vice-President Idris Ahmad and its Elections Director Datuk Mustafa Ali.

The three day gathering was officiated by the Islamist party's president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang yesterday night.

Parti Pribumi is not officially at loggerheads with PAS despite being friendly with the party's former allies in Pakatan Harapan.

"We never had a problem with them, we just never been open about it," the aide added, referring to the party.

However, Muhyiddin and Parti Pribumi chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad were viewed as vehement enemies by the Islamist party during their time in Umno and the government.
