PARIS, March 23 — With steady hands and exacting skill, the man known as the 'French Spiderman' scales a 48 storey skyscraper.
Standing and supporting himself on window frames — and with no safety gear — Alain Robert climbed the Total Tower near Paris.
Robert said his latest feat was to raise awareness for a good cause — but admits the issue of hair loss might not be top of mind — especially in the wake of the capture of the man who may be responsible for the deadly attacks in Paris.
“Hair loss is a serious subject. But when you see that it took four months to catch the guy who is maybe the brain of the November 13 attacks in France, it's true that the national day for hair loss awareness seems a bit light. Even if it is still important, there are different priorities,” he explained.
This is not Robert's first walk on the wild side. He has climbed more than 100 buildings all around the world.
Hair Loss Day is tomorrow in France. The day was created by a pharmaceutical company which makes products to fight hair loss. — Reuters
