NEW YORK, Oct 24 — The New York Times Magazine posed an interesting question to the world yesterday, and the Internet has responded with often hilarious tweets and replies.
The magazine tweeted an infographic in the shape of a baby rattle and asked their readers what they would do if given the chance to travel back in time and kill Adolf Hitler when he was a baby:
We asked @nytmag readers: If you could go back and kill Hitler as a baby, would you do it? (What's your response?) pic.twitter.com/daatm12NZC
— NYT Magazine (@NYTmag) October 23, 2015The graphic shows that 42 per cent of the viewers responded with ‘Yes’, 30 per cent with ‘No’, and 28 per cent are ‘Not Sure’.
NYT Magazine Digital Deputy Editor Charles Homans confirmed that it was part of the magazine’s “Dear Reader” feature in an email to USA Today.
Social media has gone wild over the question, with funny and often sarcastic responses popping up in answer to the question.
One reader has helpfully tweeted a picture of Hitler as a baby as a reference:
