PETALING JAYA, Nov 25 ― Mark your calendars and get ready to join the queue! The famed Pablo will be opening its doors on December 6, 2pm at One Utama Shopping Centre.
The shop will be located at the old wing of the shopping centre on the second floor, right next to the information counter.
Originally from Osaka, the Japanese chain is famous for its delicious baked cheese tarts. The larger flaky pastry tarts are said to be available either “rare” i.e. with a gooey creamy core, or “medium” which means it has a firmer texture. Their mini cheese tarts come with a shortcrust shell.

For the Malaysian outlet, they will be introducing two sizes; big and mini. It will be available in three flavours: original, Matcha and chocolate.
The bigger tarts will be cooked to a “medium” consistency. For the mini cheese tarts, their Facebook page describes the texture as having a more melting centre.
As per their Facebook page, they also promise to do their famous dance at their grand opening to greet customers.

Earlier slated to open in October, the date was pushed to December. In a message to their fans on their Facebook page, they cited delays due to the time needed to import the special ingredients and equipment from Japan.
