MAY 13 — The Communist Party of China and the PRC Government continue to commit extremely serious missteps in its foreign policy approach.
A fundamental tenet of the PRC’s foreign policy is non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. While this tenet is essentially upright and correct in inter-state relations, PRC’s approach has repeatedly been exercised throughout the past 68 years of CPC rule without regard to basic moral considerations.
If a country is abusing and even murdering its people, no one with moral conscience can accept that you continue to do “business as usual” with that country regardless. You should not interfere directly or indirectly, or even openly criticize but you must demonstrate clearly your disapproval by COOLING YOUR TRANSACTIONS with that country despite the political costs. Only then will the rest of the world see that you uphold basic inviolable human moral standards.
As long as the PRC keep ignoring other countries’ internal transgressions and abuses however outrageous, the PRC will continue to be looked upon as a pathetic self-serving soulless nation and the West as champions of human rights and morals. No amount of bombs, invasions and murders by the criminal Western powers will overcome people’s distaste for China. China’s “soft power” will remain hollow forever.
Till this day, the PRC’s leaders and government have almost zero understanding of other nations. This is because their information comes almost solely from members of those reactionary governments that they deal with, and from the PRC’s own comprador intellectuals, officials, diplomats, business fat cats, and reactionary or ignorant “experts” and intermediaries.
There are countless examples, with two outstanding cases being Singapore and Malaysia, of which Deng Xiaoping and all his successors, and their ambassadors, are shockingly and miserably ignorant. China is still mired deep in the sins of its dynastic past, with its greedy mandarins and stupid ignorant emperors.
China’s huge investment deals with Datuk Seri Najib Razak are seen by the vast majority of Malaysian citizens of all races as outright collusion and support to keep an alleged kleptocrat in power. Of course, China’s moves were motivated by the relentless aggression of the United States and its criminal Western allies in undermining and encircling China since 1949. Now that Najib has fallen from an unimaginable political earthquake, China will reap the consequences of its political calculations (and shameless business greed), done without even the minutest regard for the Malaysian people’s travails, in the guise of a foreign policy of non-interference.
It will take years, if not decades, for China to undo the very serious damage to its relations with Malaysia, especially with the vast majority of Malaysia’s PEOPLE including the 23 per cent of Chinese descent.
China’s ambassadors to Malaysia, Bai Tian and predecessor Huang Huikang, have overindulged themselves in the company of the despised Malaysian Chinese Association, MCA President Liow Tiong Lai and Najib Razak, son of China’s “bosom friend” the late Prime Minister Abdul Razak Hussein. Is it time for Bai Tian to educate himself thoroughly about Malaysia and then give his big boss a kick up the backside?
