SAN FRANCISCO, May 8 — It’s Mother’s Day and Facebook has rolled out a ‘thankful’ reaction button in the form of a purple flower — but for a limited time only.
The Verge reports that this might be just a temporary reaction, and users will not able to use it after Mother’s Day.
The reaction, which Facebook said will be tested in a few countries outside of the US, was first spotted by Twitter user Sreedev Sharma, and is enabled for Malaysian users.

Besides the flower reaction button, Facebook also added a temporary feature to its Messenger app which allows you to send your mom digital flowers.
The company has added a new flower button which appears next to the text messaging box which animates your message with flowers.
