LOS ANGELES, May 15 — Lionsgate has released a new trailer for upcoming action sequel Escape Plan 2 that stars Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista and Curtis Jackson.
In the original movie, Stallone had teamed up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to hatch an elaborate escape plan from a high security prison. Obviously, this sequel won’t stray far from that escape plot except this time Stallone will find himself heading back to that prison instead to rescue a team member.
The film also stars Xiaoming Huang, Jesse Metcalfe, Jamie King and Alphonso A’Qen-Aten Jackson.
The synopsis of the film reads: “Years after he fought his way out of an inescapable prison, Ray Breslin (Stallone) has organised a new top-notch security force. But when one of his team members goes missing, Breslin must return to the hell he once escaped from to save his friend from the prison’s brutal human battleground known as Hades.”
Escape Plan 2 is set for On Digital, On Demand, Blu-ray, and DVD debut on June 29. Check out the trailer below:
