KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 — Zedd has expressed an interest in collaborating with Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna.

The EDM superstar, who performed in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month, tweeted homegrown talent Yuna when she asked if they could work together to impress a friend’s four-year-old daughter.

Zedd proposed the pair write a song together.

Yuna is currently based out in Los Angeles after marrying Adam Sinclair in January.

The 31-year-old hasn’t released any new music since 2016 album Chapters on which she collaborated with R&B star Usher for track Crush.

Singles Bicara and Lautan were uploaded to Spotify last year after originally featuring on the original soundtrack for 2014 movie Legenda Budak Setan 3.

It was only three weeks ago Zedd, 28, was down in Malaysia to perform at KL Live.

The Grammy award-winning producer thrilled an audience of 2,500 with hits that include Clarity and Beautiful Now.

His latest song, catchy melody The Middle, was also played, and clearly a favourite with Yuna, who remarked it’s “stuck in my head all week”.

Fingers crossed for these two working together!
