LOS ANGELES, Sept 19 — A legal show with a high-tech twist, Bull adds to the already well-stocked drama line-up on CBS, landing to replace The Good Wife, which ended last season.
What's the story?
As the founder of a legal consulting firm, Dr Jason Bull cleverly uses psychology, intuition and high-tech data to become a veritable puppet master of the courtroom.
Working with a team of experts, he collates all kinds of high-tech data and fine-tunes every last detail to develop winning strategies to suit each one of his clients.
Who's on the cast?
After 13 years playing special agent Anthony DiNozzo in NCIS, Michael Weatherly is set to lead his own series on CBS.
He plays the brilliant and charming Jason Bull, a character inspired by Phil McGraw — aka Dr Phil — well-known to US viewers after starting a TV career in the late 1990s alongside Oprah Winfrey. The latter even contributed to creating the series, with the help of Paul Attanasio, a former producer and screenwriter on House.
When does it air?
Bull premieres Tuesday, September 20 on CBS, between NCIS and its spin-off NCIS: New Orleans, two highly watched shows on US TV. — AFP-Relaxnews
