LOS ANGELES, Sept 8 — We finally get our first look at Will Smith’s star-studded drama Collateral Beauty.

has been released, a star-studded drama that focuses on the Oscar-nominated actor as a once-successful business man faced with the tragic loss of his young daughter.

In the film, Smith stars as a once-successful business man who is left dejected after the tragic loss of his young daughter. As a form of therapy, he begins writing letters to the entities of time, love and death.

"We’re here to connect. Love, time, death. These three things connect every single human being on Earth. We long for love, we wish we had more time and we fear death," Smith says in the clip.

Smith then begins receiving surprise visits from the ideas themselves, this time in the form of Helen Mirren as death, Keira Knightley as love and Jacob Latimore as time.

Also starring in the film are Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, Michael Pena and Naomie Harris.

The synopsis of the film reads: “Directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada), Collateral Beauty stars Smith as a New York City ad executive whose life is rocked by a sudden death. His close friends — played by dramatic heavyweights Winslet, Norton and Pena — do what they can to support him. But Smith’s character escapes into a series of letters that he starts sending to love, death and more. It’s a shot in the dark. The letters are compared to missives to Santa. Only, in this movie, the ideas of love and death reply, and the fantasy of the situation begins to soar.”

Collateral Beauty is set for release on December 16.
