LOS ANGELES, Sept 8 — A vinyl edition of the Stranger Things series soundtrack is set to drop next month, in tandem with the previously announced CD release.

The first season’s soundtrack was released digitally in two volumes in August, with the first volume’s CD release arriving October 14.

The double LP vinyl edition for the first volume of the hit Netflix show’s soundtrack will follow on October 28, with the record to come in a gatefold sleeve that includes a printed insert featuring album credits and additional art, as reported by Pitchfork.

Composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of Austin band S U R V I V E, the series’ score has been heralded for its analog synth-heavy music, and will be available in the US via Lakeshore Records and in the UK via Geoff Barrow’s label Invada, with other territories to follow from November 11. — AFP-Relaxnews
