LOS ANGELES, Aug 19 — Screen Media Films has unleashed a trailer for Zoom, the new indie comedy and comic-book mashup, starring Alison Pill and Gael Garcia Bernal (via IndieWire).
The movie, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, tells the story of Emma, a sex doll manufacturer by day and cartoonist by night, who has created her ideal man on paper in the form of high-flying film director Edward (Bernal), who is directing a film based on Emma’s life.
Their worlds collide when Emma decides to rob Edward of his manhood and he loses control of his movie, affecting Emma’s life as their separate realities begin to intertwine.
