Vin Diesel shares snaps from ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ set

LOS ANGELES, Jan 31 — Vin Diesel is already busy filming for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and the star has taken to social media to share some shots from the sets.

Diesel took to both Facebook and Instagram to share the photos and give fans a taste of the third xXx movie will be all about. The popular action star posted two images to his Facebook page, captioning the first one with “first day on the sound stage”. The shot shows the actor on a motorcycle in front of a green screen, tangled up with a woman.

“The Director, producers and myself sitting in wonder as we take in the artistry of the many craftsmen that have built these amazing sets. You can tell the first day what level of crew you will be working with and it is clear that XxX has the very best. Grateful for the opportunity to make magic… The years of development, the months of preproduction… And here we are at the beginning of production,” he captioned the second shot.

Diesel is set to star opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black), and Academy Award-nominee Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, Little Miss Sunshine).

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is scheduled to be released in 2017.
