NEW YORK, Nov 30 — You have literally seen them growing up on screen and now, one of the famous Olsen twins is off the market, according to US Weekly.

The 29-year-old former actress turned fashion designer and businesswoman Mary-Kate Olsen wed French banker Olivier Sarkozy, 46, the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy in a private ceremony on Friday in Manhattan where the guests were offered “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night,” a source told Page Six.

The couple, who started dating in 2012, became engaged in 2014 and live together in New York.

Despite the 17-year age gap, Olsen was “definitely interested in him”, US Weekly wrote, quoting a source.

“MK (Mary-Kate) is constantly complaining about boys not being mature enough for her,” the source said. “She got the kids out of her system. Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys. She’s definitely interested in him.”

She reportedly turned down his first proposal in 2013.

A source told US Weekly, “She’s making him wait. She’s not in any rush. She wanted to make sure he would be good to her.”

Sarkozy was previously married to Charlotte Bernard and has two children with her, Julien, 13 and Margo, 11. They separated in 2010 and got a divorce in 2011.

Olsen previously dated Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III, Dreamworks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg’s son David, as well as photographer Maxwell Snow and artist Nate Lowman. This is her first marriage.
