KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 — Actor Kamal Adli admitted he was disappointed with producer Datuk Yusof Haslam’s decision to drop him from the upcoming production, “Abang Long Fadil 2”.

“It’d be a lie if I said I was okay. Honestly, I am disappointed because I have locked the date for filming since a year ago.

“Plus, I had to work out in order to stay fit for the movie. I really liked the character, too,” said the actor to mStar.

However, Kamal has accepted the decision and is taking the issue as a blessing in disguise. The “Gangster Celop” actor added that he would take a positive approach and continue working as usual.

Previously, Yusof Haslam confirmed that the actor will no longer be involved in the Skop Production movie so as to avoid any conflict between Kamal and fellow actor Zizan during the filming period.

In the meantime, Kamal is set to be seen next in two upcoming movies, “Apartment” and “Isteri Untuk Dijual”. — Cinema Online
