LOS ANGELES, July 8 — Peter Webber has signed on to direct “Tutankhamun,” a four-part series for ITV.
The series is to depict the discovery of the tomb of the King Tutankhamun, who at the time of his death was merely a boy, by Howard Carter, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Screenwriter Guy Burt, whose resume includes “Jekyll and Hyde” and “The Borgias,” is at work on the script, which focuses on Carter’s personal life as an introvert who stumbled upon fame. — AFP-Relaxnews
