LOS ANGELES, May 26 — Rob Kardashian reportedly skipped Kim Kardashian’s wedding because he was worried about photos.
The reality star has been under scrutiny since pictures of him looking considerably heavier emerged last week.
Rob is said to have fought with his family before leaving Florence on Friday night, and new details indicate the disagreement was about his appearance.
“Rob has become so insecure and depressed about his appearance ... he refused to be in the family wedding pics, despite his family’s encouragement,” TMZ reports.
The outlet goes on to explain that Rob’s family tried to make him feel better about his looks, but the more they tried to convince him the worse he felt. Finally, he decided to just fly home on Friday and miss the wedding altogether.
Although Rob responded via Twitter to people commenting on his weight (and insisted he didn’t need therapy), it looks as if the TV personality is struggling.
He apparently found being part of Kim’s wedding highly stressful, and despite making the effort to go to Europe in the first place, he couldn’t see it through.
“Rob is not in a good place right now at all and his family should be very worried about him,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He was embarrassed to go to the wedding in the first place because of his weight gain and to be ridiculed by Kim and basically rejected has put him over the edge. The Kardashian family prides themselves on looking absolutely fabulous and the fact that they would choose looks over family is simply appalling.” — Cover Media
