HOLLYWOOD, Jan 24 — Flying high after “Inside Llewyn Davis,” American actor Garrett Hedlund is in line to become a younger Captain Hook in “Pan.”
The 29-year-old was offered the role of Peter Pan’s famous enemy, revealed Deadline, and would be joining Hugh Jackman, who’s to play Blackbeard in the feature directed by British filmmaker Joe Wright (“Anna Karenina”.)
On release starting June 16, 2015, in North America, “Pan” will be set before the events found within J.M. Barrie’s original novel. — AFP/Relaxnews
