TORONTO, Dec 4 — Oscar Isaac, Tom Felton and Jessica Lange are also in the cast of this adaptation of the novel “Thérèse Raquin” by 19th-century French author Émile Zola.
Following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last September, “In Secret” has been introduced to a wider audience through a trailer uploaded to YouTube. Elizabeth Olsen and Oscar Isaac portray two ill-fated lovers overcome with remorse in this feature directed by Charlie Stratton.
The trailer revisits the story of Thérèse Raquin, forced by her aunt (Jessica Lange) to marry her frail and unassuming cousin, Camille (Tom Felton). The young bride is seduced by Laurent (Oscar Isaac), leading to a passionate affair and ultimately to a situation neither character can escape from. — AFP-Relaxnews
