SHAH ALAM, Oct 25 — Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) yesterday launched the first Italian-Bahasa Melayu dictionary in the world.
UiTM vice-chancellor Tan Sri Prof Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar said the book was the result of the dogged effort of UiTM’s Language Study Academy (APB) in pushing back the knowledge frontier and fostering bilateral ties.
“It is hoped the dictionary can benefit the students and anybody learning the language whether here on in Italy,” he said. — Bernama
