KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — Pharmaniaga Bhd’s shares on Bursa Malaysia was traded higher in the early session today after its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd (PLSB), bagged a new contract from the Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide medical supply logistics services for seven years.
As at 10.26am, the counter rose 1.0 sen to 39.5 sen with 18.81 million shares changing hands.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said the contract was from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2030.
The award was following the end of a previous contract which commenced on December 1, 2019.
While MOH and PLSB finalise the terms of the new medical supply logistics services agreement, PLSB will continue to support and render its services to the ministry based on the agreed salient terms, Pharmaniaga added. — Bernama
